Why is it important to write well?

In today's workplace, a lot of communications are in the written form, and this becomes more so with the increasing use of email. Every working professional must have the skills to write clearly, concisely, and positively.

People often form opinions about an organisation from the written material they receive from its employees. If these documents are unclear, use outdated styles, or contain grammatical errors, the organisation's image can be affected negatively.

This workshop introduces a planning and writing process to ensure that business messages are complete, clear and logical. This planning process enables you to generate and organise your ideas quickly and effectively.

You will also learn a writing style that is up-to-date, clear, reader-friendly and relationship-building. On top of that, this workshop shows you how to avoid common grammatical errors in business writing.

An added bonus in this workshop is the inclusion of a set of proofreading skills. This ensures that you can proofread and edit your writing confidently and competently.
